Unpaid invoice reminder
Three reminders that stay polite and stop the moment they reply.
Chasing money over WhatsApp works because it is read. It goes wrong when it reads like a debt collector.
These three messages get firmer but stay civil, and every one of them stops the flow if the customer answers — because somebody explaining that they will pay on Friday should not receive a final notice on Thursday.
Pair it with a payment link so the reply is a payment rather than a promise.
The flow, step by step
Hi {{name}} — just a reminder that invoice {{reference}} is due. Let me know if you need anything from me.
Wait 3 days later, then carry on.
Check whether they have replied. If so, the flow ends here and a person takes over.
Hi {{name}}, following up on invoice {{reference}}. If there is a problem with it, tell me and we will sort it out.
Wait 1 weeks later, then carry on.
Hi {{name}} — invoice {{reference}} is still outstanding. Could you let me know when it will be settled?
Use this flow
Connect a number, open Flows, and import this template. It arrives switched off so you can read it, change the wording and decide when it starts — nothing is sent to anybody until you turn it on.
